bathroom color

I am moving into a home that has a sage color bathroom. This will be my children's bathroom and the main bathroom for guests. What color shower curtain would be good in there. I am looking for something that pops! I am also wanting to stay away from floral if possible and white.

Hi Tina, Kimberly here from interior decorating ideas for you. Thank you for asking the question on what color shower curtain you should use with a sage color walls.

Thoughts for you. Do you have other colors coming off the sage bathroom? Do you have a particular theme in mind?

Think about doing a theme base bathroom for your children and guests in safari. There are a variety of different shower curtain prints that you can incorporate the sage green in as a secondary color.

A country look with stripes or plaids would give the bathroom a great look.

You can think about going whimsical and bring in some brighter tones such as an off red, a yellow, or even different shades of green. The whimsical theme is open to make it fun for the children, yet create a nice setting for guests.

The main thing is to think about the different colors that may come off the bathroom. If you are open now to any color, I like the idea of going with a theme.
