Color question

Just painted livingroom walls buttercream, with lots of yellow in it. I have fallen in love with a grey sofa....can this work? Help!

Even though the colors of buttercream and yellow are in different color families from gray, you can make the gray work. The key is blending in accessories that will balance the room out. Pillows that bring in the buttercream and yellow, candles, and accent lamps. A small throw blanket on the sofa or other furniture will also do the trick.

It is fine to blend in different color families in one room. Just use your accents and accessories to pull the room together.
