Cool and mature room using bright colors. I understand your mentioned you have a small room. One of the first things to think about is your favorite color or colors. If you like a bold color such as a deep blue, think about softening the room with a lighter blue tone on your walls. You can use pillows and a bedspread or comforter that has darker shades of blue. Using lighter tones will help make the room bigger. Your darker or bolder colors can be used for pictures and other items you may want to display around the room.

Most any color today can be a cool and mature. Bright orange and yellow can create a warm look to a room.
