Thanks for getting back with us. With the walls being a little lighter then I thought originally, the black booths will work fine. I like your idea of the burgundy tops to tie your color scheme together. Your restaurant sounds really nice and would love to see a photo if you have one.

i also wanted to say that the cafe cubano is more of
a shade of a light tan not to dark with a little
bit of pinkish color in it.

i went with the black booths only because i was looking at the restaurant thought that the black
would look more sleeker and i am going to put burgundy on the table tops, i thought it may look a
little sleeker. with the black booths. i hope i made

Color For Your Restaurant Booths

Hi Beverly, Kimberly here from interior decorating ideas. Thank you for asking the question on what color to use for your booths.

Your colors sound great and that they make a statement in your restaurant. Here are a couple of ideas for you.

Consider buying booths that are in a little lighter shade then your cafe cubano color of the walls, or a lighter shade of burgundy. I think this would compliment and off set the walls and bar stools. By getting booths in a little lighter shade you would be balancing the colors in the restaurant. You can use the black or cafe cubano colors in any accessories you may have on your booths.(Salsa bottles, salt and pepper, etc..)

You could go with the same color burgundy as well for you booths.

Another option is to consider purchasing booths that have a combination of your main colors. A little pattern throughout the booth will also tie in all your colors.

Let us know what you decide and would love to see a picture of your restaurant. I believe if you go with a lighter shade or stay within the exact color family of burgundy, it will look nice.
